Dr. Samuel James Ratermann, MD

No bedside manners to members of family, a little rude, curt.

You go to the doctor when you are sick! You have a job! You would expect to be examined and treated without having to walk him through every step. I have yet to hear the results of my wellness exam. No blood results telling me anything!!! I could ask for them but if the doctor is treating you as a person and not a patient he would make a point to tell you these things or at least have the nurse call. I am very dis-satisfied and plan the find another doctor! If I know what is wrong I don't need him.

Dr. Ratermann is my mothers doctor. She is 80 years old and has suffered two strokes prior to becoming his patient. Since Mom has been seen by Dr. Ratermann, she has stayed in very good health. With her previous doctor, she was being seen by the nurse practitioner constantly. She and I have nothing but good to say about "Dr. Sam" as my mother calls him.

Does everything exactly "by the book". Needs to learn to treat the patient a little more and not let the government regulations tell him what to do all the time but other than that he is a good doctor. He also needs to realize that my time is valuable also and not make me wait so long.
