Dr. Samuel Schneider, MD

I cannot believe this man is still practicing. I saw him years ago in Princeton and he was nothing short of cruel.

When I first started seeing Dr Schneider, everything was great. I felt that he was very kind and caring, and understood what I was doing through. After going to him for about a year, I realized this to change. I struggle with bipolar, depression, ptsd, anxiety disorder and also drug addiction. He does not at all take kindly to drug addiction. As soon as I was honest with him about my habits, all he had to say was “drugs are bad for you, stop doing them.” And refused to continue to give me my much needed, non addictive medicine because he said “if my medicine is not working for you then why keep taking it.” He refuses to try any new medications with me. It is also very difficult to make an appointment with him (mind you I only see him every couple of months) his receptionist I assume is never there because no one ever picks up the phone when I call. He tends to cancel/reschedule appointments a lot. He charged me twice for an appointment because I had to reschedule ONE TIME. I do not… see the point in paying 400$+ (yes this is what he had charged me) for an hour of talking when there are no solutions. I don’t know what happened with him but he really changed for the worst.

Dr. Schneider is very pleasant and easy to speak with.

While it was very easy to set up an appointment with Dr. Schneider, I discovered through his billing number that he doesn't accept insurance, even though vitals.com says he does. He charges hourly. Hopefully this website will update its information with this knowledge.

Outstanding caring physician. Extremely concerned with my overall mental and physical health. His medication and guidance enables me to retain a positive meaningfull outlook; although I have extreme anxiety disorder, OCD, Depression, as well as PTSD.Highly recommended by 60 year old male patient
