Dr. Samy Magdy Sharobeem, MD

My 90 year old mother who was as active as a 60 year old was suffering from bouts of fatigue and pain for 8 months with no diagnosis or treatment from her doctors. I made an appointment for her with Dr. Sharobeem. Within two weeks of her first appointment with him she was on the road to recovery. I am 100% confident in Dr. Sharobeem. He cares. He is an exceptional medical professional in the fields of Nephrology, Hypertension, and Internal Medicine. I highly recommend him.

Rude...not very helpful, does not return phone calls. Had the secretary read my findings instead of him. Very unprofessional, does not care for me, as a patient. He is horrible as an associate of the Tower Nephrology Group.

When Dr. S. was called and it was his day on call for his office--but it is a Saturday, he responded to me by saying, "WHAT DO YOU WANT? IT IS SATURDAY AND YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME!" I was not able to breathe. Dr. S. did not abide by his Hippocratic Oath to help. "....Whatever houses I may visit, I will come for the benefit of the sick, remaining free of all intentional injustice, of all mischief and in particular of sexual relations with both female and male persons, be they free or slaves." One does not have to be mean to say that he is unavailable. After being in the hospital for 3 days, he NEVER even showed up at the bedside.

Dr. Sharobeem has been my primary care physician for several years and treated me numerous times. He's extremely thorough and is a very kind man. I trust him and have never felt that way before about a doctor.

Dr. Sharobeem is a fantastic doctor. He is a kind and compassionate man who helped me with my kidney problems for several years when I lived in Los Angeles. His bedside manner is impecable, and I beleieve that he cares about his patients. I moved to the LA suburbs a few months ago, and I greatly miss his care and support.

Dr. Sharobeam has great bed side manner. He is down to earth and listens carefully to his patients.

I was looking for a new Nephrologist and someone recommended Samy Sharobeem and he's the best dr I have seen in a long time. I saw that someone gave him a poor rating here and I wanted to leave one as well since I have had such great success with my treatments with him. He is also very kind and caring, which is refreshing for someone like me with a chronic illness.

I am a nurse with a very complicated medical history. I am treated in Dr Sharobeem's same office but with a different phycision whom I have nothing but great things to say about. Dr Sharobeem however, was on call on a Friday evening when I was having a health related issuw at home that started after their office closed. I called the on call doctor at 545pm to see if I could speak with my nephrologist before the day was over regarding a possible health emergency. Dr Sharobeem returned the call and was EXTREMELY rude saying "You should have called before five. The office is closed." Due to his lack of bedside manners and pure rudeness I hung up and will now serve a complaint with my regular doctor. Like I said I have a very complicated health history including 2 transplants, so some issues can not be ignored. I would never want this man as my doctor!!!
