Dr. Sana Hussain Qureshi, DO

Dr. Sana Hussain, DO, Endocrinologist, has no compassion for her patients. She will refuse to treat a patient at a moment’s notice and without valid direct notification. Initially, she would not even abide by the minimum of a 30 days’ notice to discontinue association with this patient to allow for her to be seen by another physician, until the Office Staff was confronted and then finally agreed to the minimum. In this case, the diabetic patient being in a Riverside assisted living with total blindness, had been initially refusing additional insulin when experiencing high sugar levels had gone to see Dr. Hussain for a scheduled visit on a Tuesday and was told that if she continued to refuse the insulin that she could no longer be a patient of Dr. Hussain. Upon hearing this, the family and Nursing personnel at the assisted living facility spoke with the patient and explained the repercussions of continuing to refuse the additional insulin. The patient had been compliant with the… instructions; however, on Monday of the following week, Dr. Hussain told the Riverside Senior Life Bourbonnais that she was no longer caring for this patient, even though the patient had not refused any additional insulin, as per the Assisted Living Staff. This physician does not live up to the standards of what a Physician should be and we do not recommend that she be allowed to practice Medicine. This is not the Profession for her. I work in Healthcare and do not advocate that others seek her guidance. I sincerely hope that Riverside Healthcare, reconsiders her continued employment. On a side note, the Office Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I had an appointment with Dr Sana Hussain, DO and I had the worst experience of my life in dealing with her. She was rude and completely unprofessional. Her office staff was no better. I ended up leaving in tears, only to have staff call me and be rude and inconsiderate as well.

No Bedside manner whatsoever! Came in with her mind made up and listened to none on my concerns.
