This doctor seems to have no human feelings. Arrogant, rude, no signs of compassion ever for people who are battling for their lives. Is this the best UVA can do? Very disappointed.

My Godchild has 6% kidney left and was set up for cath for dialysis! She was admitted surgeon came in had iv and blood work she is 18 years old but has mental delays! Surgery was set for 7:000 am the next morning. Dr Khan came in to explain how to cath at home spent 15 min in room didn’t even speak to Kayla! Kayla was cooperating wasn’t crying or anything. About 9:30 Dr of nephrology came in and said Dr Khan wouldn’t work with Kayla because she thought Kayla wouldn’t do it! They released us and now she can’t have the cath for dialysis! She is very stuck up and didn’t even have the professional ability to come and tell us! She basically told us to put her in preventive care and sent her home to die! Something will be done! She has NO right to make that decision just because she saw her for 15 min and she’s special needs! She’s in my mind a piece of crap doctor! I didn’t even wanna give her one star! This is mal practice and discrimination at its finest! Hope you can sleep… at night Khan! You just sentenced Kayla to death! We will keep working to find someone and I pray you never have to go through what she has been through!!!!!!

I saw Sana for a kidney condition I have. She was combative and did not offer any help, instead telling me to drink more water, and that my pain, blood in my urine and bacteria in my urine were not real symptoms. She then charged me $250 for the visit. I would never go back to her, as this was hands down one of the worst doctor interactions I have ever had.

If you're thinking about having Dr. Khan as your physician think twice. She will lure you in with all these great ideas and promises, but when it comes time to act on them forget it. she has completely reniged on everything she agreed upon. And there were 3 of us in the room at the time. So I have witnesses. I left 3 messages and finally got a returned call from her staff. I was told she doesnt have time. Well that's not what she told us at the consult. She over charges the state and really never checked anything. Office visit means what? Walking through the door ? She never once checked all of my vitals or anything else to be exact. Oh and be prepare to sit in a room full of patients because she shares the office with her husband. Many times we sat outside on folding chairs. She is only in the office now twice a week. So you better get sick on the days she's there. And if you want to renew your meds, be prepared to go into the office. Waste of time and money. The only thing you… need to see a patient for is to refill narcotics each month. Other than that every 6 months is adequate. It's all about the mighty buck and inconveniencing the patient. She has lost my family as patients and I will in no way recommend her to anyone.
