Dr. Sanaz Faghri, MD

She is very good. She spent a lot of time with me and explained the medication she was prescribing and side effects I could expect. She also called me in a couple weeks after to see how I was doing with medication. I felt well taken care of. I recommend her. She is great doctor!!

I recently went in for a physical and complained that I had been having back pressure. She stated that my appointment was ONLY for an annual exam and I would need to make a sick appointment which I did. When I went in to my sick visit, she stated that she didn't understand why I made an appointment with her. I should have made it with a specialist. Well, you told me to. On other visits I have complained about multiple symptoms concerned they may be connected. She snapped at me stating that she didn't have time to address all my symptoms and to pick one symptom. She told me to make another appointment to address my other symptoms. If I went in complaining about high blood pressure, headaches, neck pain , eye pain and chest pain. She would tell me, "I don't do eyes; go to an eye doctor. Make an appointment for a cardiologist and neurologist. Also, I would like you to see endocrinologist." By the time I leave I am extremely frustrated, and overwhelmed by the number of specialists I… need to see. Did it ever occur to her that maybe they are all symptoms of just one disease?

Dr. Fahgri is one of the nicest and most thorough physicians I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She spent a lot of time with me asking questions and answering questions I had. I felt completely comfortable with her and left her office feeling like she did a great job. I felt that she was really looking out for me and I feel lucky to be in her care.

Knowledgeable and personable -- what better two words to describe the primary care physician that I want preventing health problems and treating the issues I have?! She does an extremely thorough examination of both my physical and socially related symptoms. She is person-centered and assures that your opinions and information are part of her assessment. After your visit, the office can schedule some follow-up tests and for other referrals, they print out suggestions for who to go to, where to schedule additional tests you may need, and provide phone number and directions! I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Faghri and the Newton Corners office!
