Dr. Sandeep Munjal, MD

Dr. Munjal completed his Residency Training in Internal Medicine at the University of Rochester and Fellowship Training in Nephrology, Hypertension and Renal Transplantation at the University of Florida, Gainesville. During his Fellowship he participated in Basic Science Research studying Renal Physiology on an NIH Grant. He was also involved in Clinical Research and has published in leading medical journals. His research interests include Glomerulonephritis, Hypertension, Renal Physiology and Dialysis. After fellowship training Dr. Munjal was recruited as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at University of Florida, Gainesville. This provided him the opportunity to teach, train and directly supervise residents and medical students. Dr. Munjal also presented several lectures during his time at the University of Florida, Gainesville.

In 2009 Dr. Munjal opened Jacksonville Nephrology, where his goal is to not only treat, but to help educate patients based on his more than 15 years …of medical experience. With his teaching and research background he has a natural energy to provide this to his patients.
