Dr. Sandip Prasan Vasavada, MD

All physicians should be as reassuring as Dr. Vasavada. My wife has suffered for years as a result of having a bladder sling placed. His thorough exam and testing resulted in my wife having surgery. The cause of her chronic infections was found and the problem resolved. We were included in every decision made and he made sure that she and I were reassured that the problem was correctable. Thank you Doctor.

Would NOT recommend this doctor. He "talks the talk, but cannot walk the walk". He sure acts like he knows everything and can do everything, but he certainly can not! He also lies too. Please do yourself a favor and seek a second opinion. The Cleveland Clinic itself is absolutely awesome, but I do not feel like this particular doctor should be working at such a fantastic hospital. He does not live up to the high standards of Cleveland Clinic.

He was thorough and spent a lot of time with me. I wish others would do the same. He is very compassionate for such a well renowned individual.

Claims he got all mesh out. Said he would fix in a couple months after surgery said leave well enough alone . I thought this was Dr V everyone talks about removing mesh He said he knew Dr Raz etc he lied to me..Claims they were doin dinner that night..more cat scan test shows something on pelvic bone geez what can that be

Outstanding bedside manner. He deals with complex patients such as me and fixed my problem. I had 2 prior surgeries with mesh and he was able to still help me.

I suffered for ten years until I saw Dr. Vasavada. He took care of my problem whch no one else could. Best thing I ever did.

I got a bladder Sling in Aug of 2011. It was the worst thing I did I have had so many problems since. Doctor Vasavada did not give me very good solutions to help me fix the problem so I got a second opinion outside the Cleveland Clinic and found out that the sling was not working :( Doctor Vasavada did not know what to do he is not a good Doctor as far as I am concerned, I just hope and pray that he does not do this surgery to someone else and they have the problems that I have. He acts like he knows what he is doing but now it is very hard for me to trust a doctor he has hurt me with this so much I do not think he should be doing this operation on women. He also did not come and talk with my family after surgery to tell them what was going on I had to stay over night because I lost a lot of blood and he did not even know what was going on. He did not come and see me after surgery he called my room on the phone and my daughter answered and he asked it I was ready to go home. She… said no she is not doing well and he told her ok I will see her in her room tomorrow. He had no idea what was going on! This is not a sign of a good Doctor I do not think I would tell anyone to go to him. Please be careful of this Doctor

Being a leader in his field he was very down to earth and easy to talk to. His office staff is easy to reach and responds quickly to questions or concerns. Would highly recommend.

Dr Vasavada saw me after 4 different "specialists" including 2 urologists and 2 gynecologists had seen me for a complication of my gynecologic surgery. He was able to readily diagnose my problem and has clearly dealt with people with my type of issue in the past. He is a very confident physician and truly empathetic ith my needs. My surgery was a huge success and i can only thank him for taking the time and care to managing me.
