Dr. Sandra Gomes Amaral, MD

Approximately 4, nearly 5 years ago 2008, I was diagnosed with Minimal Change and IgA Nephropathy and was placed on three drugs. Enalapril, Azathioprine, and Micardis. I spent the rest of those years going from doctor to doctor looking for help after the death of my mother 2010. I finally found help this year. 2012. Dr. Green of Shand's Pediatric Nephrology. Upon his request I had a second biopsy done. He retrieved the notes and tissue samples from Emory during that time. Upon checking my samples from both biopsy's it was discovered that the previous diseases had been under MISDIAGNOSIS. IgA Nephropathy was never present in either sample. Only Minimal Change in the first sample. Due to this MISDIAGNOSIS I have been banned from any military work at all. The only career I had ever asked for and dreamed of. Now I am 4F forever disqualified from my goal. Thanks alot, Doc. PS:Doctor Green has been studying both disease for over 30 years. Just so ya know.
