Dr. Sandra Kay Antoniak, MD

Dr Antoniak is by far one of the most compassionate and knowledgeable doctors I know. She goes above and beyond to get her patients the care they need, including sending them to other specialists or getting them other help they need to get better. She listens and has empathy paired with exceptional diagnostic skills. She will stand her ground and get to the root of problems instead of just handing out pills to cover up the symptoms of deeper problems. If you want a doctor who will treat your real health issues instead of just medicating you to cover up your symptoms, you need to see her!

Dr. Antoniak is the most empathetic and knowledgeable provider I’ve ever received treatment from. She listens to my concerns regarding my symptoms, talks me through different treatment outcome possibilities, and plans treatment goals together with me that are realistic for my life style. She answers all of my questions thoroughly and is sure I understand and agree fully before going forward with any decisions. With her care I’ve been able to get control of my life back despite my difficulties and attain goals that felt out of reach.

Dr. Sandra Antoniak is an outstanding doctor who sincerely practices psychiatric medicine to the highest standards. In my opinion, she is the ultimate role model for other physicians to follow. Not only is she one of the most caring and compassionate doctors in the state of Iowa; she's also an outstanding citizen of the Iowa City community. She is very heavily involved in volunteer projects in the community using her medical skills; in my opinion she truly practices the teachings of Christianity to the highest standards. She is nothing short of an absolute Godsend to her patients and everyone who knows her alike. Her parents did nothing short of a phenominal job raising her from childhood. She is nothing short of a major asset to the local community, her patients and medical professionals that work with her; and quite frankly, to humanity as well. Her presence in the world makes a better place for everyone who's life she touches.
