I can't begin to tell you how pleased I was with this doctor and how at ease she made my son feel during our office visit.

Good with the kids but no room or flexibility in her schedule.

Dr Escalera is not only an expert in GI disorders but also kind and compassionate.

Extremely aggravated and offended about what happened to us at this practice. My six year old daughter has been a patient of Dr. Escalera for over 4 years. Driving today to our last visit we got lost going to North Haven from Sandy Hook and called the office to explain our location. Linda, the office manager, told us not to bother coming in, she said we needed to reschedule. Since my husband and I took time away from work to make this follow-up visit, and our daughter was very ill, we showed up to the appointment hoping the doctor would see us. We got to the practice only 9 minutes late. Linda refused to keep the appointment, refused to let us talk to Dr. Escalera, and kept telling us we needed to reschedule. Not only she was uncooperative and unreasonable, but once we kept insisting on the practice to honor the appointment, she threatened to call the police if we didn't leave the office - she did this in front of our 6-year-old who started shaking and crying. My husband and I… are still appalled and waiting for Dr. Escalera to come forward with an explanation and apology.

Hi im 12 years old with a complicated medical history. I can say from my experience with Dr. Escalera and Nurse Practitioner Martha Beebee that it has been the greatest and thanx to them i am in better health and stronger. Dr. Escalera saved my life and i will always thank her for this. She is so attentive to my medical needs that i have no complaints. As for the staff they are very compationate and caring in what they do. We have had nothing but a wonderful experience. As to say i have been seen Dr. Escalera for about almost 2 1/2 years pr so. Thank you and God bless you always.

Both Martha and Dr Escalera are very reassuring to parents and kids. They let us know what will happen and make sure that there are no surprises. Good job working with my son who has a needle phobia, and they made sure Yale knew about it too. They are compassionate and really want to help kids. Wish they treated adults so that we never had to leave their practice.

I do not recommend this office. We saw Martha Bebee and she was fine. However, when my daughter had a severe stomach reaction, we called the office and asked to make an appointment with Dr. Escalara as soon as possible. We told them my daughter was in pain. This was Monday. They gave us an appointment on Wednesday only to call and tell us the next day that Dr. Escalara had to cancel (with no explanation) and could not. see my daughter for almost a month but if I wanted I could reschedule with the nurse practitioner. We again explained our concerns only to be told there is nothing they could do. We found them uncompassionate. We are switching doctors!

I have been seeing Dr. Escalera since I was 10 years old. I am now 21 and am dreading the day that I have to leave her care. Over the past 11 years I have formed a bond with Dr. Escalera like no other doctor I've ever been to. Dr. Escalera truly cares about her patients and does everything in her power to help them. I always look forward to visits with her where I receive a hug and a kiss as a welcome. She is the most incredible doctor I have ever been to!

Dr. Escalera is an excellent doctor with wonderful bedside manner. She is very attentive and patient with the kids. My daughter was very sick and she put my mind at ease and I had complete trust in her treatment. I highly recommend her, she is the best!

Shes is a wonderful, with an amazing staff. She carer for her patients and is a great doctor
