Dr. Sandra Ann Golden, MD

She doesn't listen to symptoms and completely blows you off. I've been in 2 times so far this year and both times were the same experience. Today, after being blown off yet again, and told to just tough out my illness, i went for a second opinion. The diagnosis and treatment by the urgent care doctor was totally different. Dr. Golden spent 5mins with me and didn't even listen to my lungs or heart beat or check my nose. The urgent care doctor did a full work up checking ears, nose, throat, lungs and heart beat. He was in the room with me a good 20 minutes before diagnosing. If you are looking for a doctor to actually help you when you are sick, don't go to Dr. Golden.

She does not listen to you what wrong with you and just give you print off on stuff you can find on the internet. She is really bad with kids and have you left feeling like you just wasted your time.

Awful follow-up. I experienced awful back pain suddenly and she couldn't get me in to see her for 4 days. After I did see her, I called to tell her that it was getting worse and her office manager called me back and said she was sending me to physical therapy. I ended up in the ER two days after that and was pumped with all sorts of pain killers. The hospital referred me back to her for pain management and it has been a week and I have yet to hear back from her. I've called 4-5 times. I'm changing my primary doctor immediately. Very disappointed!

Dr. Golden did a decent job during the actual appointment, however, her follow-up is horrible. She ordered a slew of tests for me and it was nearly impossible for me to get the results. It took over 6 weeks, several phone calls, dropping in to ask in person, etc to get the results. Even with that I still have one test that I cannot get the results on. As I have cancer I simply cannot afford to have such large gaps of time so I am switching doctors because of this.
