Dr. Sandra Mary Hoyte, MD

A doctor who really listens, does not rush or push medication first. Always has given very good and practical advice and takes time to answer questions and explain details. Friendly, not intimidating.

Every appointment I've had with Dr. Hoyte she has been very personable upon meeting her and puts me at ease through the examination process by explaining what she's doing. After the examination she takes time to explain herfindings and any lab results. She prescibes medication, but also suggest other vitamins and exercise.

Dr. Hoyte (Sandy) is the best doctor I've ever seen in any of the states I've ever lived. She never makes me feel rushed, she really listens to what I'm saying, and she asks questions that make sense. I've never felt treated like "just a number".I've seen some of the nurse practitioners over the years, too, and I guess I've been lucky because I've never had a bad experience.I always recommend Sandy to my female friends.

The practitioners are always changing. Every time I go in, I see someone different. In the 8 years I've been going to this office, I've only seen Dr. Hoyte once. I now only go for minor illnesses, and get my yearly exam at an ob/gyn. The frustrating part is having someone I've only just met try to diagnose a problem when they haven't reviewed my file to see what tests I've already undergone or what my drug allergies are.I wish there was a codeword I could use to get to Dr. Hoyte.
