Dr. Sandra Elizabeth Klein

I cannot speak highly enough of this surgeon. She is thorough and dedicated and her surgical skills are the best, bar none. I have had Dr. Klein work on both feet and I have had absolutely no problems afterward. Anyone giving her a 1 star rating is an idiot, and clearly not an actual patient of hers because if they were they never would have given her a 1 star. So many expect Dr.'s to always have the answer they want, and that's not the case. She is dedicated not only as a physician but also as a surgeon and as the department head of WashU Orthopedics. I AM a patient, I have had Dr. Klein fix both feet and I can say that I would never recommend anyone else.

I broke my tibia and fibula bones. Dr. Klein did my surgery and after care. Due to her technique of puckering the sutures you can hardly see the 8" & 5" scars.

This whole appointment was the worst appointment I have ever had in my 43 years! I would never refer, recommend, nor tell anyone about, other than how horrible it was! The check in was decent but after that it was terrible! The Arctic is warmer on it coldest days than the MA, radiology tech, and THE DOCTOR! Horrible horrible patient care! I will make sure everyone knows about this! Considering filing a formal complaint!

Dr. KLEIN saw my husband for a foot problem. She diagnosed the problem and performed the surgery w perfect results. She was kind, informative & personable and her skills were impeccable! I cannot imagine a more capable, caring physician. We are very thankful we found her. I would HIGHLY recommend this talented surgeon.

She sent me to another doctor in the group, Dr. Dy. He sent me to Dr. Olafsen who the sent me to Dr. Colorado. Yes 4 doctors in 2 months and no firm diagnosis. Literally have passed me around. Pretty sure they don’t know what’s wrong with my feet and figure they’ll make some $$$$ anyways. Can’t get answers to questions without another $200 appmt. Have spent $2000 out of pocket and no answers and just want me to have more procedures for diagnosis. Pretty sure they don’t know what they’re doing.

Dr. Sandra Klein performed surgery on my wife’s ankle as a result of a fall last week (1.15.19). I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Klein. She was very cordial, respectful and informative with exuded confidence during our first consultation visit. She recognized the fact that surgery is needed immediately and rearranged her schedule as such to accommodate my wife the next day and stayed late that day until early evening. The next day her assistant Jennifer called to check to make sure she is ok and if she needs anything. She also promptly submitted all the paper work needed for my wife’s employer. I very highly recommend Dr. Klein in her particular specialty. I read few not so good reviews but none are justified based on our experience.

This orthopedic doctor is by far the worst doctor I have ever had an encounter with. I agreed to see her because she was the only physician that I could get in right away to see. She was extremely rude and arrogant. Absolutely had no interest in what I had to say about my ankle. Instead she was trying to tell me how I felt. Please save your time and money And wait for a better doctor. Because I promise you if you do go see her you won't go back.

I have been going to Dr. Klein and I am thankful everyday I found her! She has done everything she could possibly do for me. I have had 4 surgeries including RBKA. She has been there for me every step of the way! I am so blessed!

I saw Dr. Klein for pain in my foot. I'm friends with numerous Doctors and nurses whom all said that sounds like nerve pain. Dr. Klein diagnosed me with the most obvious, yet less painful issue I had going on and did nothing for the excruciating pain that she assured me wasn't nerve pain since that "wasn't where nerves ran". I ended up being diagnosed with nerve pain by the next Dr. I saw, which was unfortunately in the ER. Now I'm pain free and receiving great care.

I imagine she's very smart and my problem was just not that interesting. She was abrupt, curt and seemed in a hurry to get on with more important things. When I asked about other issues I was having in addition to what brought me in, she was pretty non responsive. Couldn't even get her to look at my orthotics to determine if they needed to be replace.
