Everything at New Milford Hospital was professional and excellent, from the staff to Dr. Lombardo herself.

SHE IS THE BEST !!!!

It was totally un-professional and irresponsible for Dr. Lombardo to leave her patients in NYC without giving them any warning or forwarding information.

Dr Lombardo is an excellent diagnostician During my second visit with Dr. Lombardo her, I felt very secure. First of all, she .identified why I was feeling so tired as needing an infusion of Iron. I asked her about swelling on my leg and she immediately wanted me to get an ultrasound after the infusion. The ultrasound identified a very large blood clot in my leg. I could have had serious implications with my health.

On calling the office to make an appointment I learned Dr. Lombardo has moved to CT and no longer practices in NYC. As a longtime patient I think it would have been courteous and helpful to email patients and let them know this information.

I saw Dr. Lombardo six or seven times because I needed iron infusions for anemia. At the first appointment, she skipped me because I was getting out of the bathroom and she didn't see me -- and she didn't apologize! She didn't explain my blood results in a way that made sense at first. After one or two visits I asked her what might be causing my anemia. She said that wasn't her job -- that was for my referring physician to figure out! She appeared interested in only treating my symptoms, not finding a cure.Finally, I was waiting for blood test results and they sat in my file for days without being notified of them. I only got them because I came in to get my files to bring them to another, much better hematologist.I went back to Dr. Lombardo several times because I wanted to giver her a chance to prove herself. She did not, so I had to fire her as my doctor.
