Dr. Sandra Stone Nieto, MD

I've been going to several doctors over the years with headaches and they've always given me different medication with differing diagnoses. Dr. Nieto was the first to correctly diagnose and treat my migraines. Having the proper medication makes all the difference in the world when I'm in pain. I also personally really like her. She's very calm, matter-of-fact and it's easy to speak with her. I'm always comfortable explaining my problems and always happy to see her. It takes a few days to get in to see her normally, but she's worth the visit. On the appointment wait side, Dr. Nieto works in Ochsner Health Center, they're always busy and sometimes the waiting area is crowded. I've never really felt like I've had to wait a long time, but it's almost never been immediate either. I don't consider 20 minutes a bad wait, but I've never scheduled an appointment during one of my "crunch times".
