Sandra Joyce Rabis

This provider has poor communication skills. Canceling an appointment an hour before it is supposed to start is unprofessional, especially when patients need medication refills. It is important for mental health providers to exhibit strong communication skills so they can best serve their patients needs. The appointments are only 15 minutes which is often not enough time to discuss your needs, concerns, and ask questions. The appointments felt rushed and I would not recommend her.

Sandra’s experience and expertise is apparent from the moment she begins to address my problems. Sandra’s level of professionalism and her ability to comfort me was very reassuring to me. Her approach is straightforward, no nonsense, I would highly recommend Sandra to friends, family, and colleagues alike. That said , its so very refreshing to enjoy the extreme professionalism with a high level of expertise in a health care provider.

I was recommended to see Sandra a few months ago. The person who was overseeing the mental health network Sandra is in urged me to utilize my therapy time to learn how to communicate safely. During my second session with Sandra, I brought up something from the first session she said that had made me uneasy. She then proceeded to tell me: “You are too sensitive” “You are too complicated “ “I don’t sugar coat things I tell it like it is” Then she weaponized a diagnosis I had received (that I was unaware of at the time) to gaslight me. Be careful with this provider. I think she means well but she might have some unresolved issues herself and doesn’t know how to leave it out of her own practice with clients.
