The best experience, worth the wait

Because of her staff, she lost a patient.

Outstanding Physician She cares about her patients and listen to you and never rush you out of her office.

This wonderful soft spoken woman saved my life literally twice even and I'm not even sure she relizes it. Now let's just say I suffer from a number of ailments, not all are phsycal, and yet treating one may adversely effect another, so I'm kinda a difficult patient. On top of that I have I have an ALMOST irrational phobia of doctors especially a specific kind of doctor which I absolutely refuse to take any medication prescribed by or even see. I have good reason, when I was 8 years old I was admitted to a hospital where one of these doctors got a hold of me and with little if any real examination he decided I needed to be on copious of a then brand new relatively untested drug, it realy screwed me up bad realy bad. This soon became a cycle and none of the doctors were ever humble enough to admit they had done more harm than help, it became my fault I wasn't reacting the way they were told to expect so I was a bad patient. They not once gave a second thought about the potential… longterm side effects the drugs that they force feeding me (some times literally completely ignoring my adimate protests). I stopped seeing these doctors and for a time all was relatively ok. Then something drastic happened and i had no choice but to see some kind of doctor. My mom had recently been referred to Dr.Rocha anmy mom asked if the doctor would see me. The first time i saw her i was a nervous wreck but very shortly into our visit i found her to be willing to LISTEN to my concerns like she genuinely just wanted me to get better. I kinda hate to admit it but by our third visit i had total confidence in her, more confidence in her than i have or could ever have my own mother. She became my superhero with a stethoscope. I sometimes hear people complaining about long wait times and to them i would just like to point out that the quality of care TAKES TIME, she can't just jump from one patient to another like a farm hand who gets paid for the speed of their harvest, she's got to give EVERYONE a thorough exam and has a lot of paperwork to do after each patient Just think of it this way, a Lamborghini Murciélago has a two year waiting list, a RolsRoyce Phantom has a wait of five years. Since Dr.Rocha's the RolsRoyce of PCPs it should be only natural to expect that you may have to wait

Majabella I read your review and I have to tell you YOU ARE THE RUDE ONE HOW DARE YOU POINT FINGERS AT A HARD WORKING STAFF MEMBER. Everyone at Dr. Rocha's is professional and if you didn't notice they are doing it all from patient care to call backs. I have been a patient there for as long as I can remember and yes the waiting time is long but very well worth it. When I need a referral to a prior auth on medications Jessica has been the one to take care it as well as Kristin. NEXT TIME THINK TWICE BEFORE WRITING SOMETHING SO STUPID YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY PATIENT AND DID YOU EVER THINK THAT ALL MEDICATIONS HAVE TO BE APPROVED BY THE DOCTOR.

Dr. Rocha, has been my doctor for many years and I love her would not change her for another doctor, except that her staff specially Jessica is so unprofessional, when calling and asking for prescriptions she takes for ever to call the pharmacy and sends the wrong medicine. Jessica is very rude with the elderly patients.

Have been over three times to this doctor. Each time I've had to wait 2-3 hours to be seen. Horrible!! I understand that they take time with each patient, but for god's sake schedule ACCORDINGLY!! MY time is as VALUABLE as yours. I will not waste another minute of my life waiting on you. Why you expect your patients to be patient and not get upset is beyond me.

She is not a bad doctor, but her wait times are horrendous. The only time the wait time was short was when my wife and I went to the first time.=less than a hour. However almost every time there after the wait times in creased. A 1:30 appointment on one day and did not see the Doctor until almost 4:00PM. Several times I have called her offices to ask for extensions on prescriptions and had to call several times in a row to get someone to get her to allow me the medications she prescribed renewed. Today I went and checked in at 3:20 and by 5:00PM she had three other patients waiting who were a head of me. I cancelled my visit and left as I had other thing to get done. I am now looking for another Doctor.

Everyone loves Dr. Rocha. The crowd of patients in her office is only a testimony to her care, skill, and understanding. And unfortunately, new federal guidelines are making it harder and harder for outstanding doctors to perform in a manner that truly accommodates patients' needs.

I go to many doctors and have throughout my life. I have never met a doctor who cared about me more than Dr. Rocha. She lives for her patients and suffers their ups and downs with them. She is smart, careful and compassionate. I would trust her with my life.
