Dr. Sandra Kay Shrader, MD

I was unable to make an appointment with Dr. Shrader because her office staff preferred that I call around to other doctors to see if they had sooner availability (Dr. Shrader was booked 3 months out). I would have preferred to confirm an appointment with Dr. Shrader first and then cancel if I were to have found something sooner, but her receptionist told me that I would potentially "tie up" an appointment for someone else...THREE months in advance. I guess another doctor will be getting my business.

I have always had difficult skin problems and was previously seen by an internationally recognized skin surgeon before she retired. I have tried several other Dermatology centers in the Northeast and none of them can compare to Dr Shrader. I now fly across the country for appointments in her Florida Office. She has considerable infectious disease experience which is helpful for Dermatology and has taken great care in diagnosing the cause of Skin issues that several other Doctors completely missed. I told a couple of my Doctor friends here in the Northeast they will have to go to Florida to get good care.

Office Manager/Front desk is ULTRA rude!!! Ill go elsewhere.

Very unfriendly, rude, and unconcerned with her patients. I would recommend anyone other than this physician.

I was seen by Dr Schrader when she was at Loma Linda, CA. I asked that she look at a suspicious spot on my back. While doing so she indicated I had a different place that she was very concerned about & she wanted to remove it. As recommended, she removed this spot and sure enough it was "NOT FRIENDLY." She is an amazing Physician with a gifted eye and I wish she were still here at Loma Linda. I have another spot but don't know anyone who can measure up to her extraordinary qualities. She is not gun shy to say, "That looks fine but there is something about this one that I don't like." Her "Eagle Eye" has been correct when spotting "UNFRIENDLY" spots on my son as well as myself.

Get a second option before any surgical procedure to make sure you have been diagnosed properly.
