Dr. Sandra Marie Skovlund, MD

She spent very little time with me - maybe 2 minutes total. And she offered very little in the way of diagnosis or treatment. Told me my dizziness would probably "just go away in a few weeks." When I asked if it could be something to do with a sinus infection I'd had recently she didn't even let me finish my question before very rudely dismissing my concerns. Cold, didn't seem to care about me or the fact that I was scared because of this sudden dizziness I was experiencing. Was not reassuring. Was not helpful. Extremely poor bedside manner. I don't need coddling, but I do need a doctor that's sympathetic to my medical condition and can offer a concrete plan for treatment. I would not recommend Dr. Skovlund to anyone.

I have had 3 nasal surgeries. All were success full. 1st Surgery was for multiple problems. Second and third for a recurring problem. She knows how to get it done.

I was referred to Dr. Skovlund. She had terrible people skill and was quite arrogant. Not sure why she would want to be a doctor if she doesn't like talking to or listening to patients. One of the top two worst doctors I've ever been to.....would avoid her. She's a waste of your time.

I was referred to ENT by an internal medicine physician. I have been having issues with my mouth with strange taste (thrush?) and inside lip irritation. Hoping that Dr Skovlund could do some testing or a biopsy. For whatever reason she walked in the room and gave me a talk on how her daughter looks on the internet and finds everything wrong with her. She then quickly peaked in my mouth with a little light and said I was fine. No testing no nothing and walked me out of the room. A 5 MINUTE VISIT? Not sure what kind of Dr she is and still made me PAY.

Seemed skilled. Used her as a second opinion to another doctor's diagnosis. She confirmed what first doctor indicated without knowing the results. However, was quick to wanting to leave versus staying for some Q&A based on questions I had.

My mother saw Dr. Skovlund recently for a throat related issue. Oftentimes, doctors are busy or have eccentric personalities, and I understand that's just how things are. But, from what I learned from my mom, that was not the case here. Dr. Skovlund discounted my mother's complaint (which was previously confirmed by two attending primary care physicians) after a quick examination, and her bedside manner exuded arrogance. The visit was a waste of time and money.

Overall she was rude. My first appointment had to be rescheduled last minute because she was to be out of the office. This is after I have waited over a month to get in to see about a tumor. She was very hasty in the first visit and left me waiting for long periods of time. On the second visit to get my results she failed to call me to let me know the results were not in, thus making me travel out there for nothing. She gave me the diagnosis of cancer and refused to listen to any of my ideas on what I wanted. She laughed off the idea of homoiopathic treatment or just removing the tumor. She was very insensitive. I went to a second opinion at a hostpital that is constantly researching and learned my tumor was not cancer but a new cell they were discovering.
