Wouldn’t waste your time. Too pushy. She seemed absolutely shocked when a parent was uncertain about their baby having surgery to place ear tubes. Wide-eyed, she said something like “I don’t know what to say, no one has ever declined anything I suggested before!” Also, there is no leeway about a parent’s right to decline the Gardisil vaccination, in spite of the potential harm it can cause. Same with seasonal flu shots. These are optional. If you don’t want your children to receive those, you will be given 30 days to find another doctor, and will no longer be allowed in her office. We still have freedoms as parents and caregivers in Texas. She strives to bypass those freedoms and impose her own will, demanding absolute compliance with her recommendations, and is intolerant, even indignant, regarding parent’s concerns or questions. “Her Way Or The Highway” should be posted up front. Do not recommend! She was the only pediatrician in our town for a very long time. We took our children… there for decades, but she’s changed. There are two other WONDERFUL pediatricians in Marble Falls now, who will take the time to listen to parents and guardians, and discuss options, risks and benefits of any treatment. Dr. Fehlis and Dr. Kelly Offutt at BSW are AMAZING!
