Sandra Suzanne Vermeulen

She saved my life. What else can I say? I am ready to nominate her for sainthood.

My husband was diagnosed with lung cancer and subsequently treated by Dr. Vermeulen. He had multiple radiation oncology treatments, gamma knife, cyber knife, radiation, etc. In every way Dr. Vermeulen is caring, professional, empathetic and talented. We considered her to be our voice of hope and reason in a sea of uncertainty and fear. There is no way we could recommend her more highly.

Dr. Vermeulen still believes in the personal touch: checking in with her patients to make sure that they are doing okay after treatment - she herself has made personal phone calls, even over the weekends! She spends all the time necessary in the exam room, going over any and all questions I may have, and explaining things in "down-to-earth" terms. Really enjoys her work, and enjoys her patients. Wonderful "bedside manner"! I just wish she could be my primary care physician!
