Dr. Sandra R Weitz, MD

Dr. Weitz was always interested in me and it was obvious her entire attention was with me and on me throughout the visit. She referred me out of the Clinic several times for tests not done at her Clinic. She wanted what was right, and best, for me. Now that she's gone, I understand all too well how unique she was. If I say more, I will be criticizing others.

I have been a patient of Dr Weitz' for about 14 years or more. She is the Best! I would never go to any other pain specialist in Baton Rouge.

Rudest, most self-centered physician I've ever met! She's so overweight herself and has the audacity to tell my husband who is on disability, with a limited income and can barely walk that he needs to lose 50 pounds and find a gym with a pool even if he needs to drive to get to one! Really?

WAS DENIED TREATMENT AFTER I HAD KNEE SURGERY AND PRESCRIBED PAIN MEDICATION BY A SURGEON. WAS TOLD I "VIOLATED" POLICY BY FOLLOWING A REAL DOCTOR'S ORDERS. SAD SHE DOES NOT FOLLOW THEIR MISSION STATEMENT. MY ORIGINAL PAIN MANAGEMENT DR. LE MAN WAS GREAT. SHE SHOULD HAVE LEARNED FROM HIM ABOUT COMPASSION AND NOT PUT "RULES" BEFORE PATIENTS CARE. WOULD NOT EVEN RETURN MY CALL.

I've been under Dr. Weitz's care for about 2 years now and she is wonderful. Her PA, Brandon, is equally competent and caring. I cannot speak highly enough about this organization!

Genuine, heartfelt care is what Dr. Weitz is all about. This attitude is what sets her apart from other dr.s. Her staff exemplifies the same, Dr. Stringer, Mary S. etc. are great, down to earth medical professionals.

Sandra is the Best Doctor Ive ever had ,she takes her time and has lots of patience ,she is truly a gift from God.She has helped me for a many of years and I thank her dearly and Her assistant Brandon Is awesome too ,god bless you both,judy Brown Branson

As a new patient of Dr. Weitz, with MediCare as my only insurance, I was refused treatment, followups, and pain medications because of the slow pay rate of MediCare. I was treated rudely by her Accountant. Once MediCare finally payed on my account I received a call and a apology from the Accountant, but not from Dr. Weitz herself. It was Dr. Weitzs decision to deny me treatment, not the accounts payable department. I wouldn't recommend the CPM for any one.

My mother is a patient of Dr. Weitz. She suffers with severe chronic back pain. From the first day meeting Dr. Weitz, we knew God had answered our prayer which was finding a doctor who cared. We all encounter the not-so-great bedside manner and being shuffled around not really understanding what is happening with your care, however Dr. Weitz is the exception: 1) she gives you her undivided attention 2)eye-to-eye contact 3)she listens 4)she explains procedures 5)she makes sure you understand her recommended plan of care 6) and most of all, she really does care!! I would highly recommend Dr. Weitz without reservation if you're looking for a dedicated, experienced, professional doctor who really deals with the holistic care of a patient.
