Dr. Sandy Cheung, DO

I would avoid this doctor due poor quality of care/service, un-professionalism and not respecting patients' rights. Her Office staff insisted my elderly mother to see her in person during the pandemic crisis-COVID 19 in order to get a refill on her prescriptions even though my mother saw her 2 weeks ago. They claimed they dont have COVID-19 at the office and its safe to go outside (like they control where the virus goes LOL). She disregarded patient's concern and only wanted to bill another office visit to her insurance. Not only did she refused to help, she yelled at both my mother and I on the phone, cut us off and eventually hung the phone. Oh btw, She only wants patient to get blood test at her office NOT at the laboratory even if you request/prefer to go to Biometrics Labs. This kind of service and behavior is despicable. Go at your own risk.

Dr. Cheung is my favorite doctor. She is extremely patient and genuinely cares about her patients. Time spent in the waiting room is very minimal, and is certainly less than time spent in the exam room seeing the doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Cheung!

The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Cheung is very thorough and answered all my questions and concerns. She really cares for her patients and very professional.

Dr. Cheung is very knowledgeable and patience. She is one of those doctors that CARES. She makes sure that you are absolutely alright before you walk out her door vs some other doctors with a min 30 minutes wait at the waiting room and in/out the dr. office in 2 minutes. Dr. Cheung takes her time and I would highly recommend her to all my friends. She is an excellent doctor. PS: Her staff are VERY courteous, especially Nancy.

I have been in different doctor's office and I like Dr. Cheung office the most because she is very patient and willing to answer all my questions. She also spends time to explain to me everything in detail and I did not feel rush out of the clinic like the other doctor clinic. I would recommend others to go to Dr. Cheung if they need a primary care provider.

As someone who almost went into medicine, I find it difficult doctor that's both competent and actually cares about the patient. Dr Cheung was very knowledgeable and gave me multiple options for treating my complex medical condition. She was patient in thoroughly going over my medical history and explained the pro's and con's of various treatments. In the end I went with her recommendations and it's been going better than I had expected. Although I spend most of my time in California, I always stop by New York for check-ups with Dr Cheung.

Dr. Cheung is very informative, intelligent and compassionate about what she does. She is very caring and spend alot of time during the office visit. I would recommend Dr. Sandy Cheung to everyone.
