Dr. Sandy Fung, MD

The front desk lady was extremely rude and unprofessional. I called their office twice to verify insurance over the past week. She never mentioned that she needed the physical insurance card without a PCP name on it. I took the day off from work to do an annual visit and the front desk lady refused to accept my insurance card with PCP's name on it. Attempt to provide an email or fax or show her my ID card on my phone but she refused to accept it. That lady was loud and required me to provide a physical card without the PCP's name on it and embarrassed me in front of a dozen patients. My insurance doesn't require an assigned PCP. That lady refused to listen and was raising her voice. If I knew I wouldn't have gone to this PCP that is outdated with the current technology.

She is super nice. Easy to make appointment - office assistant Karen is very nice too. Walk in Convenient location

I've been going to Dr. Fung for the last 10 years and all I can say is how awesome of a doctor she is. In the earlier years, making an appt. was really easy, and she always honor her appt. times ( maybe 5 minutes wait time?). The last couple of years, there is a lot more patients in her office. I swear, I should not have rave about how great of a doctor she is in front of my friends and family. I usually do walk ins now and probably spends about 1/2 an hr waiting. But hey, I won't complain, because I am doing a walk in and Dr. Fung has to honor her appts first. She truly cares about her patient. I will say, she is QUICK, she talks fast, thinks fast, does everything fast. Don't mistaken quick for hasty though. I never felt rushed! Dr Fung will answers all the questions you have. I remember I once mentioned a rash I had previously which i figured will go away on it's own and it did. When it came up in a conversation with Dr Fung, she told me " Next time, if you have… ANYTHING, just let me take a look anyways." You're never being rushed to get out of her room. She's just so lovely!

The wait time for a walk in can be up to 3 hours and the waiting room is always packed but if you can schedule and appointment, do so. The wait is under a half hour. Dr. Fung is very efficient and listens to what you have to say. She's also very knowledgeable.

Great Doctor, but too many patients see her, no matter what time you go there. The wait time is ridiculous, often 2 hours long. She is also not open on thursdays and saturdays, which sucks because I always end up needing to see her on those days. That also means there are more patients on fridays and sundays. Dr. Fung also takes a 5 week long vacation around May. Which means I can't see a doctor!

Great Doctor. There is a new receptionist/office assistant. Very nice girl, but doesn't seem to know what she is doing and appears lost. Spoke to her and gave me a blank stare. The previous receptionist/office assistant was much more professional and knew what she was doing.

I would not see anyone else. Took me 20 years to find the best Dr. in NY and Dr. Fung is that and more!

She was very thorough with her diagnosis and answered all my questions. She even called to follow up on me the next evening.

I went from pillar to post for decades before finding Dr. Fung. She is by far the best Dr. I have ever had and for the first time in decades I feel looked after. She is the BEST Dr. in NYC.
