Dr. Sanford Allen Carimi, MD

Arrogant, aggressive personality. Does not relate to his elderly patients at all !! Not interested in actually listening to his patients concerns. The worst medical professional I have ever witnessed.

When you are working with elderly patients, you should know how to deal with them. You are an internal medicine MD, you should darn well versed in understanding geriatrics. Staff was horrible to my father as was the MD . Look at yourself in the mirror, and THINK about how to listen and understand your patients. Teach your staff to do the same.

I was made to feel incredibly rushed and felt like he was not listening to my concerns. He was only concerned with the clock, as he and his assistant mentioned several times they were running behind so they had to make up time. He read my X-rays before a radiologist could, and said I was fine, except I needed to eat more fiber. He didn't take a minute to ask what my diet was like, or to find out I've had digestive issues my whole life. He clearly didn't take time to look at my chart before the appointment, otherwise he would have known that and he would have noticed that I also take a fiber supplement. Overall, I wish I had chosen to see a different doctor. I would not recommend Dr. Carimi as a doctor.
