Sanford S. Daniel, D.D.S.
Dr. Daniel has been practicing in Redwood City since 1987.  He received his dental degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, and a B.S. degree in Zoology from the University of California, Davis.  He continued his advanced training in occlusion, restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry at the FACE Institure in San Francisco, the Spear Institute in Seattle, the Center for Esthetic Excellence in Chicago, and the Hornbrook Group.
He is a former clinical instructor at USC and is currently in private practice emphasizing cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry.  Dr. Daniel was one of the first dentist's in Northern California to begin using the VELscope Oral Cancer Screening System, enabling early detection of tissue changes and oral cancer. 
Dr. Daniel has dedicated his career to optimal patient care and has averaged well over 100 hours of continuing education per year since graduation, much greater than the required 50 hours …yearly.
Dr. Daniel is involved in several advanced professional organizations including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Bay Area Aesthetic Masters Study Club, and the Peninsula Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.  He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Mateo County Dental Society.
Dr. Daniel and his wife, Janis, have been married since 1995 and live in San Carlos with their dog Eddie.  In their spare time they enjoy hiking, ballroom dancing, cooking, and photography.
