Dr. Sanford Neil Morrison

Having 2 major procedures done by Dr. Morrison and interacting with almost every staff member in Virginia Beach. I am very pleased with my visits and outcome of my procedures. Reconstructing my mandible on the operating table to getting stitches removed, I appreciate all they have done for me.

Mean aggressive dentist who will be reported to the state board.

I only went to this office because the original Dr that my daughter's orthodontist referred me to did not do the procedure she needed done. That office referred her to Dr. Morrison. I should have trusted my instincts with the first conversation that I had with the receptionist. However, I gave her the benefit of the doubt because I know everyone has bad days. I had to call two more times before the appointment date and both times again, she was rude and nasty. The day of the appointment, we arrived at 430 on the dot (the time of the appointment). The receptionist began saying we were late (she said we were supposed to be there at 400). We went back and forth with the time of the appointment and at times where she would interrupt me. Once I received the paperwork that I needed to fill out, I could hear her talking about me stating that "I was supposed to be here at 400" and how I was stating 430 "and not to mention shes late for 430 as well." She then stated that she was going… to reschedule me because she didn't receive the referral from the orthodontist. I know for a fact that my orthodontist sent the paperwork. I then informed her that I was not rescheduling anything due to her attitude. If you like putting up with disrespectful people, then this is the place for you to go.

I wish I could tell you all I want but there is probly a limit. I saw you for a messed up tooth.. you did a biopsy and directed me to Dr Alexander. He has been wonderful...the best. If I make it through the journey you have saved my life of which I hope. Thank you for being you and straight forward. It seems like you knew in the office because you told me don't sit on the situation "you have to do this NOW" Dr Alexander has been all over this and I very aggressive..I thank you for your service but for sending me on to a Doctor I have only hears great things about. And" thank you" seems so small I the light of things. If I need you there would be no one I would replace you with.

Staff was busy on a personal call. Dr.Morrison had previously done oral surgery on my daughter. Her gums healed amazing, however when he took stitches out of her face he seemed very rushed and uncaring. While taking her stitches out he decided it was appropriate to talk negative about our primary care physician who did not feel comfortable taking the stitches out for many reasons. And to make things even worse he left several ( 5 to be exact) stitches in our daughters face. Two of which my husband and I had to hold our one year old down to get out, and one her doctor was able to get out. The remaining two had bad scar tissue built around it ( has been less than 3 months) our one and a half year old has now had to be sedated again and have plastic surgery to fix his mistakes,That should have never been made in the first place.

I went to his office on last Monday to get only one wisdom teeth on the right remove and it has been a week and my right lip still feel the numbness. I call the office and they said it can get this feel up to 6 months. That's a lot. I don't know how can I deal with it. His office make me feel like all dirty and old equipments. I don't know what make me decided to take out me teeth that day. I did not have any chance to take to the doctor. He seemed really rush like he have no time. I will wait until 6 months if my lip still feel this way. I need to do something.

I have been looking around for a doctor that is in my insurance network and performance the type of surgery I need. I found a few that were very friendly, polite and responsive but they do not accept new patients or they only perform the surgery on children and young adults. I read the reviews for Dr Morrison and so far I must agree with the majority, and all I did was call to make an appointment for a consultation. A small child can answer the phone better. Very short, no introduction of herself or how may she help. And even her replies to my questions were just not professional. We will see how the appointment will go 8 days from today. So far, not good.

In this day and age money can get you anything. That is to say for Dr. Morrison and his quactice. Rude, sloppy and unorganized are just a few pleasant things to say about it. Answering calls with the same gloves on he used in the procedure. Messy. Will not recommend a rat to him. Those nurses look like they were picked up from NA. I guess that's how he pay them. Sad

This doctor was extremely unprofessional and after 2 other opinions from specials it turns out this Doctor is a quack.
