Dr. Sangeeth Shanbhag Pai, MD

I absolutely love this amazing office. Dr. Shanbhag Pai is most caring and simply the best doc I have seen. I get in quick, the front desk try hard to please. I get my bloodwork done there. They are getting that quick too. I ran into the doctor at the local Sprouts and told her about an issue. On Monday I got a call from her and she asked me how I was doing. I was amazed at the personal care I received.

Best care ever received, always ready to get you to whoever can solve the problem if they can't. Plus most of your needs can be done within the same building...no running all over the valley!! Love these folks

I had a very good experience with Dr. Pai. She took her time, went through my labs, told me what I had to do next and scheduled all my maintenance visits with my GI and cardiologists. She is my family's primary care doctor but I was very shy to go to a female physician. I was very comfortable in the end and I should have done this earlier.

Dr. Pai does not spend time answering questions. She reads your record, gives you advice, and rushes to leave the room. She doesn't ask if you have any questions. When you aske questions, she's already outside the room.

My wife and I both see Dr Shanbhag Pai and she is very pleasant, very knowledgeable and extremely caring doctor.

Dr Shanbhag Pai is the best internist in this city. She is pleasant, a beautiful person inside and out and is extremely knowledgeable. She is quick in her problem solving and very thorough. My hypertension and Diabetes (double whammy) is in such good control. She has an inhouse lab and someone is training everyone in this office to be very respectful. I love that. She has to be the best Internal Medicine doctor by a mile.

Dr. Shanbhag-Pai allows you one shot with her or one of her colleagues. If your visit is not a match for you, someone you put your life into her hands, then you have 2 choices: not come back and you will never be able to use her or her doctors again, or continue seeing her rather one way, authoritative bedside manner. She is knowledgeable. I’m not a fan of her policy so even though I saw one of her associates over 5 years ago on one visit, she has been denied seeing me as a patient today. My husband saw her over 5 years ago and stopped going because she orders and lectures. That made him uncomfortable. She is very thorough and very authoritative. In this town, take knowledge or personality. It’s just hard to find both qualities in one person. I’d say 1/2 the internal medicine doctors are over 60. I may have to go family medicine even though I am 60 and with unique health concerns. As for her office policy, I find it like her personality, rigid and not fair to the patient, who after all… are paying her for s service and should be able to meet and see if personalities mesh. The days of elders not questioning doctors is over with the baby boomers coming Into their golden years.

My health is so much better in the last couple of years. I switched from another doctor who just was into money and never helped me.

Listens to me attentively. My A1c is finally under control after switching to her. I have lost weight over 12 pounds.
