Dr. Sangita Sahay, MD

Worst doctor’s office experience I’ve ever had. The staff was unprofessional, and I witnessed multiple interactions where patients were treated with a poor attitude. During my visit, Dr. Sangita Sahay attempted to prescribe SSRIs after I explained that my symptoms were related to difficulty breathing through my nose. I felt my concerns were not properly addressed and that I should have been evaluated by an ENT specialist instead. After I expressed that I disagreed with the medication approach and did not feel SSRIs were appropriate for my situation, I was discharged from the practice. I felt that my concerns were not heard and that my disagreement with the treatment plan was handled unprofessionally. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the level of care and communication I received. I would recommend others consider their options before choosing this office.

It took us one hour and a half to get seen. After 8 months of severe pain and discomfort I became depressed. When I tried to tell the doctor about my hard trials her and nurse berated me. We had a nurse trying to throw me out, of course I didn't move an inch. The doctor sangita s eyes almost popped out of her head and only thing she wanted to do was "discharge us. There was no concern, no empathy, no positivity, no care. I left more depressed and anxious when I left. I feel like I have no one.

I discovered that I had an elevated resting heart beat when I changed doctors - Dr. Sahay never detected this. My new doctor sent me immediately to have an EKG. Still waiting for results. Dr Sahay is too concerned with pill and test pushing.

Have other doctors in my life, but Dr Sahay exceeds them all. She has the knowledge to refer if necessary and also her ability to know the correct medicine to prescribe usually solves the problem. I find her very caring and has the ability to listen. Her bedside manner really won me over when I was placed in the hospital for DVT. She also was my senior mother’s physician and endured her quick temper.

Dr Sahay takes time to explain your situation in full. She is very kind and gentle in her matter.

My wife finally got to see this Dr....to make a long story short, records show her abuse thru holmes and previous dr. All Drs should read previous records ,but my wife received all pills requested and the family is upset. In the Dr. Defense, my wife can fool the best, the Dr. Is there to help, as long as the patiend is honest. Legal prescriptions are worse than illegal.She needs some, but her addictive personality gets the best of her. A good Dr. Will keep a tight grip on patience like my wife. What to do.

Best Dr i have been to, worth the wait for sure

She is great...she helped with my indigestion that I had for decades and in-numerous doctor visits in the US and Europe...Dr Sahay resolved it after 2 blood works! Glad to have found her!

I waited (with an appointment) for 2 hours to see her. She asked 3 questions, and was done. 2 hours for 5 minutes, great service! Then before I could run out of there I was being shuffled from room to room, from test to test. I never was told the results or the reasons and have never been back. I truly believe that during my visit she could not tell you my name or anything about me. It was clear that all she wanted was whatever she could get from my insurance. I would not recommend her to ANYONE. On the other hand, I became a patient after going to her Urgent Care in the same building. That was a very good experience, and would go back, if it wasn't for my experience with Dr. Sahay.

Most memorable was being at the office for over 3 hours and leaving before finishing up because other patient rooms were full. Long waits and visits are the norm, but they usually take about 2 hours. This is a walk-in clinic as well as a private patient facility, and while Dr. Sahay is an excellent physician, and her M.A.'s are pleasant, they are so harried from being overworked running from one patient to the next, that patient attention is lacking. Follow-up and return phone calls are even worse, which is a shame because Dr. Sahay is a very capable, bright physician.
