Dr. Venkatesh was born and raised in Chennai, India. She always wanted a career in the medical field, and because she enjoyed working with her hands, dentistry was her profession of choice. After completing her dental education, Dr. Venkatesh moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa with her husband where she worked for two years as a dental assistant. They then moved to Boston where Dr. Venkatesh completed her American dental training. Sangita currently lives in Suwanee with her husband and two young children. In her spare time, Sangita enjoys listening to classical Indian music, vegetarian cooking (her specialty is pulao) and traveling. She has visited all around the U.S. and India, but still desperately wants to see the Great Pyramids in Egypt and the Himalaya Mountains! Dr. Venkatesh enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but particularly loves …the challenges of endodontics. She speaks English, Hindi, and Tamil, as well as other Indian dialects and patients can visit Dr. Venkatesh at Bright Smiles, Cumming GA location.
