Dr. Sanjay Balwant Dixit, MD

I found Dr. Dixit to be aloof and not at all interested in treating me. He actually told me to stay with my current Doctor as that facility was better than the one he represents . I was hoping to see a local specialist versus one that was 75 miles away. He was uninterested and VERY dismissive in my concerns, and seemed predetermined that he did not want to hear anything about why I was there. Butler Health System can certainly do better than this. I spent the first 10 minutes in the office being treated as though I was there for a condition that I do not and have never had, despite providing my past medical records one month prior to my appointment.

I saw Dr. Dixit for two appointments about 6 months apart. I had a history of hard to treat hypothyroidism and explained that in our first appointment. Dr. Dixit was open to answering questions, but only to a point. I wanted to be an active party in my treatment, but that was only accepted for a certain time and then I was told, rather impatiently, not to question him anymore.
