Dr. Sanjay N Soni, MD

I visited the ER at Cleveland Clinic with severe abdominal pain on Friday night (6.8.2024). A CT Scan of my abdomen was ordered and underwent same that evening. The report came back from Dr. Sanjay Soni who read the CT Scan and issued his report. I then forwarded the report to a friend who is an Interventional Radiologist at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He reviewed the report and indicated the report was incomplete, inaccurate and completely in error. Dr. Soni made reference to a cyst on my left kidney (which I had donated to my father 21 years ago). He then referred to a 'lesion' on my spleen for which I understand now to be 'in error'. I spoke to the Secretary at Radiology at Cleveland Clinic that I was going to file a formal complaint and notify the Chief Medical Officer and Ombudsman at Cleveland Clinic. As a follow up, Dr. Soni later apologized and promised an updated report from his error in dictation by the following morning. Of course that did not happen.
