Sadly our experience was terrible... My Mom was in the Hospital and was treated poorly by this belittling and temperamental individual. My Mom has an autoimmune variety of Pulmonary Fibrosis which we have been managing for a few years. Our learned experience has taught us that maintaining Her oxygen saturation levels 93-95 is the best way to keep Her from experiencing respiratory stress that causes inflammation and eventual hospitalization. Our years of actual experience with Her particular condition was dismissed and Her oxygen saturations were maintained 88-92 which has only been an acceptable practice for COPD patients which my Mom is not. So instead of our normal 4 day hospital stay it turned into 41 days of putting my poor Mom under continual stress like She was continually treading water having to continually focus on breathing techniques to keep Her oxygen up. It also caused Her to experience tachycardia, arrhythmias, afib, and chest pains. She ended up being discharged in… worse shape than when She was admitted. Thankfully we got Her stable and back to Her baseline in a few days after discharge when we returned to our normal oxygen management practices. She will never return to that hospital as a result. I would encourage everyone to seek a different Pulmologist

His style is yelling and intimidatiation and by his own admission, flippant! It was an incredibly dehunamizing and demoralizing experience. It was not the worst doctor I've ever seen, but he was right up there and cruel.
