Dr. Sanjay Masson, MD

I am not one to ever complain, however I feel it is important to those reading this that you understand how unprofessional, rude, and manipulative this psychiatrist is. After having many unusual interactions with this doctor our last session left me bewildered, confused, and frankly disgusted. I write this for the sole purpose of protecting others looking for psychiatry help. I believe people in professional roles should behavior according so, especially in this role as a doctor for mental health. However, he was not only unprofessional, but rude, insulting, manipulative, and intimidating. It's Ludacris to imagine ever being yelled at and treated in such a way by someone in this position. I did not feel safe. I truly left this appointment shaking.

My son has been seen over several years for his ADHD, I felt DR. Masson was always patient and kind, the only reason we are no longer with him is because of the cost I wish his fees were more reasonable.

Dr. Masson was highly recommended through a friend. I was pleased that Dr. Masson was able to connect with my teenage children. He took his time in learning about their needs and his diagnose was accurate. He made a difference in our lives.

Won't answer emergency calls. When he is dropped, calls parent to find out why he is "fired."

We were refered to Dr. Masson by my son's therapist, as we were very unsatisfied w/ our previous Dr. I am was amazed at the time Dr. Masson spent w/ us re: our son's dx of autism. reviewing his symptoms as well as taking the time to determine the right course of action for him. In all follow up appts he has spent ample time w/ us and our son. He listens to the issues and does what he feels is in the clients best interest. I would prefer a Dr. that does that rather than one who just over-prescribes or just does what a 'parent wants'...I would highly recommend Dr. Masson

This doctor was frustrating at best. Went out of his way to be unkind and/or rude at times; hard to get answers from; Many times behaviour was unprofessional. This area is tough in general, especially if you do have insurance. It can be worth it, if possible, to travel to places like UCLA, UCSF, Stanford, etc.

Finally we have a doctor(psychiatrist) who knows what he is doing. He listens, cares, doesn't throw meds on you. Is carefull, genuinely concerned and will take how ever long it takes to do his job right. I highly recommend him.

This man doesn't have a clue on how to handle children or parents. I don't know how he stays in business. Having delt with the mental health community for many years, its amazing how little things have changed. Maybe some "shock therapy" would help this guy. He is a hazard to his own profession.
