Dr. Sanjay Rajnikant Parikh, MD

Took half day off of work to bring my wife and 3 week old daughter for an appointment to check on my baby's heart murmur. Was told only 1 adult was permitted back with her for the appointment. Keep in mind, there is no longer a mask mandate in Marion and surrounding counties. I can now teach the children of the doctor, nurses, and other staff of this facility without a mask on, but I can't wear a mask and attend my daughter's Pediatric cardiology appointment? Ridiculous! Two boys were allowed to go back together with their parent carrying dirty blankets and stuffed animals that were dropped on the floor several times. Also, a man waiting in the hallway with me, was called to come back because the staff and his spouse couldn't get his child to stop screaming and cooperate. On top of all that, we were told that one of three things will happen with my daughter's heart murmur, "it will either get better, remain the same, or get worse." Really??? It took a Pediatric Cardiologist to… tell me THAT?!?! Those are the only possible options. This place is a joke! Update: our bill was right at $1,000. That's a lot for the prognosis report we were given; which was absurd!

I've been going to Dr. Sanjay Parikh for my whole life. He is one of the best, if not THE best, doctor that I have ever known. Unlike other doctors' patients, I actually look forward to visits with my pediatric cardiologist, and I'm sure Dr. Parikh's other patients feel the same way. The patient care at his office is not only efficient and professional, but also extremely warm and friendly. The office at Children's Heart Center is a welcoming atmosphere, especially for the younger children. I don't view Dr. Parikh as my doctor, but really as another family member. If you are looking for a pediatric cardiologist in or around Indianapolis, Indiana, I strongly suggest visiting Dr. Parikh at the Children's Heart Center at St. Vincent's.
