Dr. Sanjay Pethkar, MD

I have thyroid problems and have tried many doctors. Dr. Sanjay explained the medications and helped me. I have the right medication and labs are perfect for the first time in my life!

I have been going to Dr. Pethkar for over 15 years and his professionalism, service and care has been consistent and outstanding. He is very compassionate, caring and attentive and listens patiently to what I have to say. His diagnostic skills are spot on and the medications prescribed by him usually do the trick. I do not feel rushed at all and know that I will always get the right treatment for any of my illnesses that I visit his office for. He is very responsive even via text and email and is usually available to answer any/all of my questions. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anybody looking for a good primary care physician.

I am a patient at this location and I must say that Dr. Pethkar and Dr. Kherr are amazing. They take care of my entire family, plus I have referred many families from my neighborhood to the both of them. This team of doctors believe in taking care of their patients while providing great customer service. If you are looking for a family friendly doctors office you should definitely choose Suburban Healthcare.

None of the staff is certified. Only young can work as a MA. Older ones handle the clerical job.

I've been doctor for 10 years now and recently I feel more like a number then the person. His staff is horrible. The wait time in the waiting room is 30 minutes and then you have to wait in the room another hour and 15 minutes. I would not recommend anyone to go to his office. Due to to rude staff that do not give him his messages.

Dr. Sanjay Pethkar Doctor Pethkar is a great doctor, and cares about his patients but I don't think the Doctor realizes how awful his staff is.They could care less, They called me to cancel the appointment and than charged me for a miss appointment. The staff is made up of young Hispanic girls who seem to not no what's going on. VERY POOR COMMUNICATION. The office manager is the only adult in the office. if you disagree with her she gets very rude and raises her voice. I need medication and the pharmacy showed me proof that they sent them the refills and that they received it and the denied it. So I was with out my medication and had to make numerous calls. I made a mistake of reoffering someone to the doctor, and again said the same thing; they liked the doctor but didn't trust his staff. Like I said the doctor was good, but not good enough to have to deal with mean spirited, poor attitude workers, that could care less about the health of the people. Dont go to this office save… yourself the trouble!

Dr. Petkhar is never rushed and always takes his time with me. If I happen to be scheduled with a NP he'll come in and ask how I'm feeling. I really think his staff is great. He has an awesome bedside manner as does his NP. Great choice of drs.

Excellent and simply excellent period.

Dr.Pethkar is a wonderful Doctor. I have relied on him for several years. He is extremely knowledgeable and kind. He will answer any questions you have and puts you at ease. He has needed to refer me to a couple different specialists and each one was also great. I can go on and on about how great he is! It's so hard to find a doctor you trust and I am so glad I've got mine!

Dr. Pethkar is truely concerned about his patients. He is very in tune with his patients and takes the time.
