Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Bansal, MD

I came to Dr Bansal through Kaiser with a list of several persistent symptoms including hair loss, unexplained weight loss, nerve pain and tingling, among others. He seemed to be alright in the office visit and even referred me to another specialist for some follow up. But he didn’t order certain labs I needed, or ordered wrong labs. When I tried to talk to him about my concerns, he was dismissive, insisting that what he ordered was correct and what I had asked for. He refused to answer direct questions I had, instead telling me that he went to medical school 23 years ago in India (not exactly something I would brag about) and he had lots of experience with autoimmune disorders (I have an autoimmune disorder), citing having a family member with thyroid issues. He was completely out of date with current treatments and blood tests and offered no follow up when my (wrong) labs appeared normal and I was still experiencing very debilitating symptoms.
