Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, MD

Dr. Sanjeev Gupta has been my children's pediatrician for over 15 years and I highly recommend him without reservation. He is knowledgeable, caring and up to date. He takes the time to listen carefully to each patient along with the parents and pursues outside research/sources as needed. We trust him unequivocally and I only wish he treated adults as well as children. He's the BEST!!!

Very expensive medicines and give lots of medicines to small kids and babies

I love Dr. Gupta! He is so amazing and has always taken wonderful care of my son. But I cannot however say the same of the nurses he employs. I take my son to the doctor to make sure the is healthy. I do NOT go to a doctors office to be openly insulted and mocked by the staff. I have had SEVERAL interactions with a nurse at this office who is not only rude, but flat out insulting. If I bring my son in on a very cold day in a fleece zip up- jumper I receive snarky comments about how "someone was never taken out of his jammies today." Other gems I've had said to me: "Is the father still in the home? Why does your son act like this?" "Oh your son doesn't talk? Is he autistic? No? Oh is he deaf or just slow?" "He turned 2 and he's STILL in diapers? He'll be the only one at pre-school still wetting himself" "So do you ever look at other children, and then look at your son and think... what is wrong with my child?" "Don't you think he's too old for a stroller?" My son is… 2. He is TWO. Every visit that this woman is working is a nightmare.

Every visit is thorough and pleasant. I have seen him double check his diagnosis via reading info in books, journals, etc., if there is even the slightest chance it could be something else. Every visit (more than one child in this family) has been pleasant and it is obvious that he truly cares about each and every patient.In my opinion Dr. Gupta embodies all the traits of an exceptional doctor. He is caring, compassionate and completely competent in his field of expertise. I have and will continue to recommend him to all my friends and acquaintances who are looking for a better than average doctor.
