Dr. Sanjeev Prakash, MD

The office refused to schedule me for a first appointment until I gave my soc sec number. They state this is needed for billing. This is simply false. It is neither needed for billing, or for successful collections. I can only Imagine how difficult the office may be to work with when there is NO allowance before they even know: --my medical situation --that I am another physician (they did know this) --that I am willing to give other information, that is legal per the Soc Sec Act, to pursue collections if needed. I wonder if they saved me from poor medical care when rules at the front desk trump the importance of patient care! Wow.

Dr. Prakash has been great. He takes his time, and is relaxed in his examination. He will answer all questions, and asks if I have any more. DO NOT miss an appointment, tho- it will cost you !

DR. Prakash is a perfect fit for me. This is a very knowledgeable Dr. that really takes the time to listen!!!

Don’t waste your time going to this doctor if you want an accurate diagnosis and actual pain management. He doesn’t care about his patient’s pain they live with in a daily basis. I really question his medical competence and practice. I don’t believe he is up to date at all on current auto immune disease and how to treat them. Also, good luck getting the office staff to actually answer the phone or call you when your family doctor sent over the referral months ago. Additionally, heaven forbid you miss ONE appointment because your child was in the emergency room and that took priority.... you will get a nice bill in the mail for your copay and he will still. Barge your insurance for the visit. Definitely in search for a more competent and compassionate rheumatologist.

I saw this doctor once, and I found him to be impersonal and arrogant to me. He did not like the doctor who referred me to him and continually criticized her to me. This is not acceptable in my book. Also, I called ahead of time to ask what money I needed to bring. I paid what was asked. Now, I am getting a bill of about $150 that I did not know about that is being sent to collection. Not professional.

I have been treated by Dr. Prakash for close to a year and feel fortunate he is my rheumatologist. He is always kind, very thorough, listens carefully and questions me about symptoms discussed on previous visits so not to miss issues I may fail to bring up. He is always patient and takes time to answer all my questions. He is truly a compassionate physician!

Thanks to Dr. Prakash, I have an accurate diagnosis and medication that is working for me!

At my initial visit with Dr. Prakash, he was thorough and respectfully listened to all my concerns without rushing me! He diagnosed me after I had informed him of what was happening to me! He started out with the least medication route as possible and we were able to come to a the smallest dose to treat my psoriatic arthritis and I can say that I am in remission and have Dr. Prakash to thank. There has never been a time that he does not take the time with me and then together we make a plan on what is most beneficial to me! He does not take an attitude of I am the doctor - you are the patient you must listen to me! I cannot say enough of his human relationship skills and his effectiveness as a physician who really cares!
