Dr. Sanjeev Vohra, MD

My family both male and female and children have been with Dr. Vohra for many years. He is very thorough, compassionate, and a great diagnostic Dr. I would highly recommend him and his partner to anyone

I left from Cortland urology where my treatment was horrible, embarasing and highly unprofessional. I went to Dr. Vorha. I found him to be thorough, professional, and focused. he did not over-treat, over-react and he did not minimize my concerns. i saw him for four years and he did well for me until I moved from the area.

Very discourteous, long waits, not worth the expense. Numerous repeat tests but never offers any explanation of findings even when queried; nor does he explain if anything has changed or why he is ordering tests other than just stating he’s monitoring situation. After several years, finally decided to just fire him & go elsewhere.

I am visiting Ithaca for several months and need some urological tests ordered by my radiologist for a large prostate. Dr. Vohra refused to do the tests unless I would let him perform other (expensive) tests not ordered by my radiologist, so that Dr. Vohra could "do his own workup". This is after I told his staff that I have ALREADY BEEN WORKED UP! It looks to me like he might lack integrity, and is mostly in it for the money. (I say this even though he would have made considerable money doing the tests requested by the radiologist. ) His practice (with his partners) suffers from being the only one in town. They really need some competition. But I would rather drive to another town than let these doctors treat me.

The awful receptionist was incredibly rude to me during three phone calls prior to my visit. As I walked in I was again encountered with the same hostility and poor service. I waited 1/2 hour with the door open amongst outdated and run down equipment. As a whole Dr. Vohra's office lacks the professionalism of any other local medical office. I will be seeking treatment elsewhere in the future.

His facility is run down--peeling wall paper, rust on some cabinets, dirty carpets, urine stains around some facilities. No privacy in exam rooms, doors are left open, no privacy curtains, you can hear through the walls.

During a very painful episode my father who never says anything about pain was in such excruciating pain and was not offered ANY option that could relieve his pain nor provide any other help. vohra was fired and we took my father on a trip over an hour away and immediately was taken care of. Since he was fired his partner also didn't want to take care of my father so the only option in our area was to seek treatment out of state in PA.

I am plagued with kidney stones and you couldn't ask for a better doctor or nicer staff. Dr. Vohra is an excellent doctor, patient and extremely kind. He has done emergency surgery on me after hours, when he could have passed me off to another surgeon. Another time he called me while I was in the emergency room so that I know what was going on. You couldn't ask for a better urologist.

I believe that Dr. Vohra orders and bills for many tests.

My personal physician referred me to Dr. Vohra and uses Dr. Vohra for his own medical needs. I found him to be excellent in diagnosis, treatment and followup. The night before I was to return to work after recovering from a procedure, he called my house to see if I was doing well and said to contact him if I need to the first day back at work. I highly recommend him
