Dr. Sanjiv Sood, MD

My experience with Dr. Sood was terrible! He thought it was appropriate to cuss at me saying "this is such bull$#!+" and that "I'm a sinner and that he'll pray for my child so he doesn't get sick and die!" He obviously thinks it is okay to verbally abuse his patients to use fear so they will end up doing what he wants!!

Dr. Sood was like a breath of fresh air! My 1 wk old son had lost some wt and become dehydrated and the on call Dr in the hospital blamed me and I was devastated. I immediately went to Dr. Sood for a second opinion and I'm so glad I did. I was reassured that this was a medical issue and it was not my fault and that we needed to get my son nursed back to health. She was very compassionate and caring and totally supported me continuing to breastfeed my son. Very happy with the way our situation was handled!

Dr. Sood average time with our baby during three visits was 2:38 mins. he would rush in and out in our last visit our baby was crying too much specially at night, we took him for a visit he said the baby was ok and the reason why he was crying so much was because he was spoiled, we decided to cancel all future appointments and we took our baby somewhere else and the diagnostic was pneumonia "first stage" hopefully our baby is getting treatment now, how come he's going to diagnose a problem when he sees the baby for 2:38 mins, that's impossible, he's more worry about the payroll of his office and he rushes babies in and out, I would not recommend him please take your baby somewhere else.

I wish I had found him much earlier

I took my daughter to Dr. Sood from the time she was born up until she was 18 months old. At first he was great and then after about 6 months, everything went down hill. Dr. Sood never remembered anything about my daughter and questioned what I told him at times. I felt like he would rush in and out of the room to check my daughter. I really became upset when my daughter was sick for months at a time and we were in the office on a very regular basis yet he still did not remember anything about her. We have now switched Pediatricians for more aggressive/understanding doctor. Arrogance became a big issue with Dr. Sood.
