Summary
I became interested in pursuing career in medicine when I was a young child. In part, I was inspired by the compassionate care that my grandfather received during his terminal years of his life from liver cancer, as well as the influence of many of my relatives who are physicians. I moved from Chicago to Southern California after I completed my medical training and joined Kaiser Permanente in 1990.
