Dr. Santiago "Bo" Plurad is a board-certified pediatrician who accepts new patients ages 0-18 and sees established patients through their 20th birthdays. He sees patients throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. He received his medical degree from A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri, and completed his residency at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon.

Dr. Plurad is proud to have received unparalleled leadership experience while serving as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves. In addition, he had the opportunity to train with the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, the federal agency focused on responding to public health needs. Both experiences have enriched his practice and helped better guide and support his patients.

Very good doctor.Knows what he is doing.My kids love him.He has been there doctor for 10 years now.Staff is very nice and helpful.Wont be changing doctors anytime soon.

I love this doc. All my kids go here. His assistances are so nice and they know their patients. I always tell my friends they need to swiitch to Dr. Plurad for their kids.

My family moved here 4 yrs ago for a short time and Dr and staff made it a great experience changing dr's...we moved away and came bk 4yrs later and he is the only dr I like for my boys to see except their dr in Texas...wonderful took his time with us and the staff helped with every transition we had

When my son was born I needed a 2 week appointment with a pedi fast! Dr. Plurad was second on my list and when I called I was greeted nicely and they were more than happy to make me a patient. He even came to visit my son in the hospital after his birth. He has been my son's pediatrician for 5 years now and he is wonderful. He makes spot on diagnoses, everyone that works in the office are nice and respectful, it's very kid friendly, and he really takes the time to know his patients. He is caring, funny, and an overall great doctor! He even takes medicaid, which is fantastic since he is the best ever and many great doctors refuse medicaid patients. I feel so fortunate to have found a terrific pediatrician and I never hesitate to refer anyone to him, because I know he is the best. So, long as he is practicing he will be my son's and any future children of mine pediatrician.

Dr. Plurad has been my son's Pediatrician for around 8 years now. He is the best. Never a wait time more then 10 mins. and his staff is great!

Dr. Plurad is so down to earth and friendly. At the same time he can diagnose immediately without additional reference and has been 100% accurate with each of my children - including stroke, burn, and behavioral issues (not all with the same kid, though!). I never mind if we need to see his training physicians or RNs - everyone in the office is so professional, friendly, and offer exceptional treatment. I never hesitate to refer people to him.
