I love Dr.Michaels ,she's amazing and very professional, she always make me feel safe and comfortable, her staff is always friendly, I highly recommend Dr.Michaels

friendly on first visit but rushed and not as friendly anymore on the next ones, no compassion felt, negligence experienced during delivery caused me to suffer bec even delivery was rushed, she left right away, no further observation, consequently my placenta wasn't completely evacuated, i suffered severe reaction to misoprostol she ordered just so they could evacuate the remaining placenta. i was hoping she'd come back quickly since she only attended to me for a short time, but no.. i stayed for longer days in the hospital bec of that reaction, hoping she would at least come to check on me, but nothing, not even a call. i suffered for more than a month bec of the negligence. relatives were pushing me to sue but im not someone who would seek monetary compensation. it is more than enough for me to let her know so she can make things better for future moms.

After reading reviews both on Yelp and other places, I decided to make an appointment with Dr Saovaros Michaels because her reviews made it seem that she would listen and take her time with me. I was very very wrong. First, it was difficult to get an appointment (all I wanted was the first available, I fully intended to take time off work to make whatever appointment date they gave me). My PCP even told me on the day she referred me to this office that she had heard from other patients that it was difficult to get in. After contacting the office three times, I was scheduled. The woman who scheduled me for my annual said that Dr Michaels only does yearly examinations on Fridays... that should have been my first clue that I would be rushed in and rushed out. Upon arrival the ladies at the front desk were very pleasant and easy to get along with. I got signed in and waited to be called back. As I waited, I was texting with a friend so I knew precisely when I was called back by the… nurse-- 1:24 PM. She was kind.. took me back to get my vitals and then immediately to my room where I dressed in a gown and waited for Dr Michaels. The doctor came in a few minutes later and seemed friendly, sat down, and we began talking. I told her of my concern of what I thought was a side effect of the current form of birth control I'm using. She cut me off to tell me that the type of hormone my method uses has nothing to do with my concern and that it must be something else causing it, likely the fact that I'm aging. Mind you, it has only been two years since I've been using this form of birth control, yet I've noticed a drastic change in my body which began within a month of beginning the BC. Nevertheless, she insisted it was due to age. She rushed through the exam, not really listening to me... at one point she asked me if I'm taking vitamins, to which I said yes and listed them all. Within a minute she asked me the same question again, to which I listed them all yet again. I brought up another concern about a symptom that I told her I've noticed since very shortly after starting this BC and she said that it has nothing to do with the BC and this particular BC has high patient ratings, higher than any other, as though that ought to make me feel better. Her tone changed when after the exam she said that I can either stay with what I've got or I can go with something else or I can just not do anything, it was all up to me... and then she gave me a very quick "OK, well see you again in a year, you can get dressed and head up front," and walked out. That was it. I got dressed and checked out. When I got to my vehicle I checked the time of the last text I sent as I was called back to the exam room (1:24 PM) and the current time was 1:50 PM. Vitals, undress, exam, dress, and checkout in 26 minutes. I would honestly estimate that I was actually with the doctor for less than 8-10 of those 26 minutes. I now have no answers to my issues, she gave me no directions as to where to even begin to find answers, and finding some sort of solution or direction to address these concerns was my number one concern going into this appointment. I thought I had made that clear when I started out the time with her by bringing those things up to her right off the bat. Now I'm frustrated that I'm no closer to finding any solutions for my health issues, angry that I wasted my time on a doctor that made me feel like she had too many other appointments to get to, and sad because she will likely do the same thing to many other women who come to her for help, just to be rushed in and rushed out. I'll never step foot in this office again.

Dr michaels was a completely terrible experience. Never felt that she cared for me or my baby. Always in a rush and when I asked about something she always had a short, unexplained answer. from he beginning she tried to push me towards a C section which I always said I wanted to try vaginaldelivery. Almost at the end of my pregnancy she pushed me again towards C s. Her argument was that my baby was too big, and explicit words: your baby is too big, and if you don’t get the C section I will need to dislocate his shoulder to be able to get him out. Of course I freaked out. But didn’t agree with that still, I got a second ultrasound with a different office and they told me my baby was a perfect Size. I was induced the night after and she didn’t show up in the hospital until 1-2 hours later, the nurses could see the baby’s head but they told me to stop pushing because the doctor wasn’t there yet. She came in and she asked the nurses if something in my vaginal lips was normal, the face of… the nurses were amazung! They couldn’t believe the OBGYN was asking that to them.

13 years ago I went thru 3 docs before I found Dr. Michaels to be my OB for my pregnancy. She is extremely knowledgeable and has always compassionately taken the time to answer my countless questions. Dr. Michaels has now been my doc thru 2 pregnancies and a hysterectomy, and I could not possibly recommend her more highly. (And as a bonus, her staff is friendly and helpful, and the waiting area is large and comfortable!)

If you need a good gyn doctor, well keep looking. When calling the office you will have to leave a message and good luck with a return call. Dr. Michaels will order test and procedures that the insurance won't cover due to coding issues. When you finally get a call back you are reminded of tbe waiver that was signed stating that you are responsible for any amount due that is not covered by insurances. Hum, well, I am looking for a new gyn.

One thing led to another and somehow ended up with Dr Michaels. She was my OBGYN while I was pregnant and delivered my first baby. Overall it seems she's very overwhelmed I felt she was always rushing me. I didn't really feel she remember who I was. Every nurse I ever dealt with in her office were compassionate and caring throughout my check-ups. Dr. Michaels would forget what test she had requested for me and I would have to remind her. For example she had already requested a growth ultrasound and I had already gotten the ultrasound and on the next office visit she said I need to do a growth ultrasound and I was like no I just went last week.. Then I said everything is ok right because the ultrasound technician said baby looks healthy and within range and she said let me turn on my computer and check. I was her first appointment that day and she hadn't even checked my chart how awful is that. Another time she had already requested for the gestational diabetes test and she had… forgotten and so during my appointment she said we need to request for the gestational diabetes test. On one of the very last visits she told me this is your second kid right and I was like no this is my first baby. There were two times throughout my whole pregnancy where I attempted to change my appointment and of course it was not possible. But of course If the doctor could not see me the day of my appointment for whatever reason they would just rescheduled.A time where a physician's assistant did a test to check for a bacteria. The physician's assistant was so caring and very gentle. I had questions for the physicians assistant and she didn't rushed her answers. The treatment I received for her was 5 stars as comparison to Dr. Michaels.In my last month of pregnancy i had a concern and it was after office hours so I called the triage after hours line around 7pm and the person answering the call said Dr. Gondy was on duty so she would call me back. I never got a call back from any doctor period. I remember when I went to my next appointment I mentioned to Dr. Michaels nobody has called and she asked which day that was and so I told her and she said oh I was on duty which made things worse because she never acknowledge the fact of not calling. As a first time mom one has many questions is not like we automatically know what's happening to us. I feel she never cared about me. I felt like a number. In one of the last visits I also asked well how would I know if is time. She gave a rushed answer and said it feels like pressure down there and you will know. Every time I had a question pertaining my pregnancy instead of explaining she will be great at giving short answers. Towards the end of my pregnancy I also got very swollen. You could poke on my foot and your finger indentation would stay. I also gained weight. So one of the last visits told her about my concerns and Dr. Michaels just looked at my chart and said oh no you are fine your pressure is normal. In a nutshell every concern I had she said everything was normal. I feel she never cared. What I hated the most was having to wait for 30 minutes for her to show up so I can deliver my baby. I honestly think hospitals should not allow this practice because it slows the whole labor process and have to start all over again.. Right after delivering my baby she had prescribed some meds which included narcotics because I was in so much pain. I never dawn upon her to ask If I would breastfeed which I was breastfeeding. Turns out within days of my son being born he got really sick due to all the medication I was taking. This was my first time going through a pregnancy and after talking to friends who have had kids and have worked with other doctors the way things were handled since day one was terrible. The only positive thing I could tell you is that her nurse Shirley is the sweetest and most caring person among LasVegasObGynCenter. Luckily I don't have to go through this experience ever again because I am choosing another obgyn. I am just grateful after all she delivered my baby and he was the healthiest boy one could ask for. If you are pregnant please do your research before choosing your doctor. Having a baby is a milestone and it is a special time of your life you will go spend 10 months with your OBGYN so choose wisely.

I love Dr. Michaels. However, her office staff are the absolute pits. Don't ever expect to get a live person on the phone, and expect it to take a day or two for them to call you back once you leave a message. From my experience, her staff is careless, lack compassion, and need to learn what customer service is. Don't ever expect a smile or any type of friendliness while you are in their office. I manage a doctor's office in Las Vegas, and I would never allow my staff to treat our patients the way that her staff does. Unfortunately, it's enough to make me no longer keep Dr. Michaels as my doctor.

My experience with Dr. Michaels has always been a pleasant experience. I have never encountered a problem with her staff. Dr. Michaels was very thorough, listened to my questions, answered my questions and made the proper referrals. Also, I have never waited (ever) more than 20 minutes for each appointment and I have had several. Usually disgruntled patients have the most negative post and most of the time they have problems before encountering the doctor. I have experienced quite a few doctors with horrible bedside manners, Dr. Michaels is a cut above the rest. Thank you Doctor Michaels for your caring and dedication to the patients you serve!

Dr. Michaels is very thorough, detailed, and takes time to listen to you. Friendly and professional service by the doctor herself. However, the wait can be long at times. I think it's because Dr. Michaels takes the time with her patient. She did the Implanon insertion and I am very happy with her counsult, procedure, and follow up. The office manager needs to make better scheduling approach to improve on the patients' waiting time. Excellent job, Dr. Michaels! Thank you.
