Dr. Sapna Aggarwal, MD

First time seeing her because my primary doctor moved and fortunately she is also leaving because I wasn’t planning on seeing her ever again after my experience today. She has no bedside manners, was rude and dismissive. She also said your “weight haven’t changed it’s not up or down but you are still big” and then she laugh, at that point I felt like I wanted to just walk out and leave. She felt more of a bully and judging person than a doctor I’m very confuse of the reviews that says she is an excellent doctor.

Absolutely incompetent and knows nothing. You know more about medical issues than she does. Did not last too long at Emerson and Lahey.

I saw her two times- the first time I saw her she told me I was over weighted by 3 pounds- I was supposed to be 120 and I was 123- Second time I saw her she asked how was my visit with the specialist she sent me I explained was a quick visit - so she pointed out it was because I didn't ask questions? The second time was a physical appt- Again she pointed out I needed to loose 3 pounds to reach my 120 lbs status per height- when she was checking my throat she noticed I had some facial hair then she said I should get hair laser removal since groupon had some for $70 deal- right after she mentioned I also should also get laser removal for the acne in my face and groupon had those too- I mentioned I met a dermatologist and they told me the cost but I was waiting on it since was very expensive- then when checking my belly she noticed I had a belly button piercing and joked that she almost got one but you need a flat belly for those and laughed ( right after telling me I needed to loose… weight and exercise 3-4 times a week to loose that weight) I was very confused with her comments and indications- is she a doctor or a person who works for groupon? She never asked how was I feeling daily- any issues- I've been having serious stomach issues and she didn't go over that - or the fact that I have been felling dizzy out of nowhere. I agree with whoever wrote this on previous review: "having a horrible bedside manner and being very sarcastic and dismissive with patients. She doesn't sound like a doctor- she sounds like a manager for the American next top model! The whole experience was confusing and unprofessional. I am definitely going back to my old doctor.

I have seen Dr. Aggarwal for over 5 years now. She is very forthright. This is what I appreciate. She is not beholden to insurance companies making profits. She is in medicine to heal.

I have seen for many years, my husband also is also her patient. We both love her . Knowledge is phenomenal and great bedside manners

Worst doctor I ever had. She does not pay attention and looks like she knows nothing. How in the world she even got a medical degree. Her records should be checked

I've seen this physician for many years, during which she has taken an active role in my somewhat complex health care. Her knowledge of health issues and various treatments is almost encyclopedic and her positive, calming demeanor is so helpful. I always feel a little better after seeing her. Dr. Aggarwal's new Lahey affiliated practice is a bit of a drive for me but I will gladly make the trip for the quality of care provided.
