She has a waitlist for new patients, but once you get in to see her, she will troubleshoot and listen and complete a detailed exam. Wish more doctors displayed her experience, efficiency and competence

very good doctor, knows her stuff ! usually nice but has those moments where you wonder why you are seeing her and wasting her time. plan to be there about 4-5 hours each visit! promptness does not exist, by her or her staff!

You will most likely have to wait to see Dr. Batya but that's only because she's spending as much time as needed with each patient, including you. She's also in high demand, so expect your initial appointment to be out a month or more.

Dr Batya has always been willing to listen to my input and concerns. I had investigated the newest DBS surgery for Parkinson's developed at Oregon Health and Science University. 3 years into my diagnosis she suggested that I consider it. So far the results have been amazing. She has been quick to recognize the side affects of meds that have been problematic and changed prescriptions to rectify the challenges that the last medication presented. Most of the time her office staff return my calls the same day or the following. Her support staff are very friendly and helpful. She has a serious bedside manner that could be taken as aloof however she obviously cares about her patients and is very knowledgeable about Parkinson's so I'll take that over someone who is outwardly gregarious and doesn't really care for patients in practical ways or has little knowledge of the disease that the patient is dealing with.

Dr Batya is rude, condescending, immature and completely unprofessional. Making a patient wait for oner an hour is ,unacceptable. Yelling at a patient is not alright under any circumstance. Maybe an investigation from the state board will wipe that smug smirk off of your face!

Dr. Batya is caring and compassionate. She really helped reduce the side effects from my medication. She takes a lot of time to listen to what is important.

Dr. Batya is a very new doctor and does not show or have the insight, open mindness, or experience to specialize as a "movement disorder specialist". She is more "book" learned than "life" learned. In the 2 years I've known her it's always her way or the highway. Common sense is not her forte and her patronizing ways are an attempt to make up for her incomptetance! Unfortunately she is the only Movement doc in this area. My old Neurologist knew her at Stanford and did not hold high regards for her competancy. His comment was "what a waste of education resources"

many Neurologists only focus on 'the condition' dr Batya saw me as a 'whole peson'which I appreciated a lot

Dr. Batya was very engaging and spent all the time I needed in assessing and discussing my condition. I especially appreciated the thorough hands-on exam.
