Went to the ED at McLanes and the moment this "attending" walked in there was a very tense sense in the air. She was not attentive at all to my daughter or her managed care plan that was set in place 2+ years ago, she argued that I didn't know how to treat her after all I'm only a parent in her mind; little does she know I am a medical professional and I know the laws of HIPPA which she clearly violated lter one in the visit. It was also said that I should disregard everything and TRIPLE her doses of one certain medicine. This "attending" has LOST HER MIND; overdosing my baby is NOT an option! How often does this woman put unknowing parents at risk for harming their patients?! Also, the way she handled my daughter, almost got her kicked out of the room which I regret not doing! Grievances have been filed and I will make sure she is handled!
