Dr. Sara Y Garza, MD

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Garza since birth (2006). She is kind, respectful and always willing to spend the amount of time neccessary for both the patient and parents feel at ease. We truly look to her for any medical advice and she has never made us feel silly or like we shouldn't have called or come in. My daughter was a tough baby and she supported us in every step. Dr. Garza has a love for her patients and truly cares about their well-being and for that our family is eternally grateful.

We've been with Dr. Garza for over 3 years. She is very personable and spends quality time with our children for every visit. We always feel comfortable with her and have trust in her assessments and advice. Would definitely recommend her to anyone!!

I’ve been taking my kids to Dr Garza for years and am finally looking for a new pediatrician. I can deal with the lack of any helpful advice or resources regarding my daughter with a disability and even the rudeness of her staff. However this is the third time that my daughters prescription refill has not been called in when it was supposed to and voicemails not left to inform me. Too many better choices for medical care in Keller

Dr. Sara Garza is fantastic! Kind, sharp and loving to my kids. They love her and look forward to seeing her. They are only 7 and 3 and they trust her and take her word seriously. She has the best heart and seems to feel called to this work. I appreciate her and the time she takes to really be certain about her diagnosis and always allows me to ask a hundred questions. I would recommend her over and over. She’s the best!

Our daughters have been patients of Dr. Garza since 2006. Dr. Garza is extremely competent, has a wonderful bedside manner, helps our girls learn to be advocates for themselves (she will ask them directly to explain symptoms etc.). She is warm, kind, compassionate and 100% trustworthy. She really listens to our girls and cares about their overall wellbeing (physical and mental health). Our daughters love Dr. Garza and know that she cares about their health but also genuinely cares about them as people too. Many years ago, she accurately diagnosed our daughter with a serious infection that we believe would have been easily missed by other doctors. We believe Dr. Garza literally saved our daughter's life with that diagnosis! Even with Dr. Garza's accurate diagnosis, our daughter spent 10 days in the hospital with IV antibiotics. We don't like to think what might have happened if it weren't for Dr. Garza being extremely competent and thorough. We also like the office staff and… the nurses. We rarely have much wait time and it is easy to make appointments. Sometimes I'm not sure if I need to make an appointment so the receptionist will have a nurse call me back to discuss the issue and make an appointment if needed. We love Dr. Garza and we completely trust her and the other doctors and nurses in this practice.

We have been seeing Dr. Garza since 2004. She has cared for all of my 6 kiddos and is just great with them. I love that she is thorough and asks the older ones questions and treats them with respect and kindness. She is always eager to give support and help me with the transitions of childhood. I am a mom of multiples and I’m grateful that she can relate! I also appreciate that she respects that we don’t do the flu shot but are grateful for the experienced and excellent care we receive for our kids, ranging in age from 13years-9 months.

I will never have my child see this doctor again. She is extremely pushy about vaccinations and also her personal opinions. She does not listen to the parent's concern(s) and then will try to question you to death about you declining a vaccine or if you disagree with her about anything. She has a poor bedside manner and is appears very inexperienced. I would definitely choose any other doctor here than her.

She will always be my daughters pediatrician, whether she is on my insurance or not. We love Dr. Garza.

We have been going to Dr. Garza for the last 3 years. Her accuracy rate on diagnosis is about 50%. If she played baseball that batting .500 would get her in the Hall of Fame. For a doctor that is a joke. I am never stepping foot in her 'clinic' again. Don't waste your money on her. Go some place where you can find a doctor who can take care of your kids on the first visit - not the 2nd. Seems like she has figured out a way to get you to come back and pay your co-pay, and collect $$$ from your insurance company twice. Either she is unethical, or poor at her job. At either rate we are done with this office.
