Dr. Sara Jane Johnson, MD

Doesn’t listen, probably thought I was crazy or a hypochondriac. Cool. No bedside manner doesn’t cut it. She’s rude, raises her voice, gets annoyed when you disagree or try to prod, rolls her eyes, sighs at you. Weird fixation with telling me I don’t want to be on meds when... I .... already told her that.... ??? She doesn’t try to help you or consider you’re genuinely in pain unless you’re easy to pinpoint, though she didn’t care enough to order some tests or try to convince me she cared. Each visit was about ten minutes, which shows how Caring she is, right? Save your time, money, and dignity and see someone who actually will TRY to empathize with you.

She does know what she is talking about but she likes to hear herself talk. She seems to discuss intricate medical information thinking the average joe is able to understand her. I am medical professional and am able to follow her. Not sure if she was just speaking to me like that or does that with everyone. She was a bit rude too.

I went to Dr. Johnson for the first time last week. After reading the reviews, I kind of knew what to expect regarding her bedside manner, so I was prepared. I am a strong advocate for myself and was not afraid to ask questions and push her when I disagreed with something she said. She definitely does not exude warmth at all but did spend a significant amount of time with me and by the end of the appointment, she seemed a little less distant.

Dr. Johnson was so rude. Didnt care to hear my issues regarding my arthritis. Blamed it on old age and there is nothing that can be done about it. Had 0 bedside manners! Did absolutely nothing for me. She was also very abrupt. Went to another Dr. and helped me 100% with my arthritis and didnt blame old age. I wouldnt recommend Dr. Johnson if my life depended on it!!

She may be smart, but she is rude and did not listen to me. She actually raised her voice at me in a very annoyed manner when I disagreed with her assessment of my complaints. She succeeded in getting me to agree with her, just so I could get out of there and never go back. I did not feel cared for or listened to.
